6th January 2010The snow must go on ............. Despite the awful weather, the team at Emery-Little made sure we were here when needed and even found an extra volunteer. He was a bit frosty to start with but no doubt he will soon warm up.
3rd January 2010Leeds knock Man U out of the FA Cup An incredible performance by Simon Grayson's Leeds United has seen them knock out Man Utd in the third round of the FA Cup 1-0. Jermaine Beckford's 19th minute goal was enough to secure the victory and Leeds fans will be hoping to hold on to the talent throughout the transfer window.
17th September 2009MP's unpaid bar tab - £140,000 !!!! 77 MP's owe the commons £140,000 in unpaid food and wine bills for over six months. This after Food and Drink in Parliament is subsidised by £6.1m a year of taxpaer money. Also 52 MP's owe £10,000 in overpaid salaries and allowances that is seperate to the expenses issue. Where will it all end ?.
17th September 2009M.O.D. uses Airlines to save cash 14 Airbus A330's are to be leased to the MOD at a cost to the taxpayer of roughly £13bn in a power by hour type arrangement. The spare places may be leased to Commercial Airlines when not required by the RAF.
