Whose products do we offer?

We offer products from a range of insurers for Motor, Property, Travel and Commercial Insurance. We only offer products from a limited number of insurers for Legal Expenses, Marine, Aviation and Breakdown Insurance.

Which service will we provide you with?

We will advise and make a recommendation for you after we have assessed your needs.

What will you have to pay us for our services?

A fee of at least £15 applies for each instance of arranging New Policies, making Mid-Term Adjustments or arranging for Duplicate documentation, Mid-Term Cancellations, and Renewals. In the event of a return premium being created, a fee equal to the amount of returned commission will also be payable and this will be deducted before the balance is returned to you.

You will receive a quotation which will tell you about any other fees relating to any particular insurance policy. 

Who regulates us?

Emery-Little Insurance Brokers Limited, Lancers House, Sutton Mandeville, Salisbury, Wiltshire, SP3 5NL is authorised and regulated by the Financial Services Authority. Our FSA Register number is 308929.

Our permitted business is to advise you and make arrangements with a view to bringing about deals in Non Investment Insurance Contracts.

What to do if you have a complaint?

If you wish to register a complaint, please contact us by writing to our Head Office. Alternatively you can telephone us on 0870 770 9170

If you cannot settle your complaint with us, you may be entitled to refer it to the Financial Ombudsman Service.

Are we covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS)? 

We are covered by the FSCS. You may be entitled to compensation from the scheme if we cannot meet our obligations. This depends on the type of business and the circumstances of the claim.

Insurance advising and arranging is covered for 100% of the first £2,000 and 90% of the remainder of the claim, without any upper limit. 

For compulsory classes of insurance, insurance advising and arranging is covered for 100% of the claim, without any upper limit.
